| The bronze and navy bargello inspired neckpieces (above & below) use cut Delicas for the straps. They also use silk satin Delicas for one of the bead colour finishesa delicious sheen.
To bead the bottom edge of the bronze strap, I had to figure out how to do increases on successive rowsnot a simple task. C. Wilcox-Wells instructions in Creative Beadweaving provided a starting point. Each navy strap is created in two pieces that are stitched together. This one is easier to dol |
